A Prayer Service at which the
Confirmation candidates and
parents attend to acknowledge they will complete the requirements
necessary to receive the Holy Sacrament of Confirmation.

Candidates will
receive their service booklet following the Commitment Ceremony.
Candidates are required to take part
in 20 service
experiences and journal each experience.

It’s never too soon
to begin researching and thinking about these important aspects in
Confirmation preparation.

Candidates will receive information and
a worksheet to use as guidelines in the Spring of 2010.

Group Fall 2010
7:45 mass and small group sessions
during the school day.

Forms will be
distributed later in the year. Sponsor information is necessary to send
sponsor invitation.

Meeting Fall 2010
Candidates and their
sponsors meet on parish premises for an informative meeting and time to
share in order to build a mentoring relationship.

Pastor Due Fall 2010
Candidates articulate in writing why
they want to be confirmed and the meaning Confirmation will have in
their lives.

Day of the
Spirit Retreat Fall 2010
Small groups are assigned a specific
retreat group and day, often a Saturday on parish premises 9am-2: 30pm.

Staff
Interviews Winter 2011
Candidates spend
15-20 minutes with a staff member on parish premises talking about their
faith and Confirmation in small groups.
