I would like to thank you for your thoughtfulness and kindness for the Holiday Season.  We have been back to work for the last three weeks.  I did send home a grade report after the progress reports and most of them came back signed.  The students still have until February 26 when the trimester ends to improve their grade.

This week we finished our research and chart projects, the students have been working on in regard to Cuba and Guatemala.  They did research on the history, economy and the current situation in those countries, including their government.  These projects were very interesting and informative.  We will then be working on South America, especially Peru and Brazil as an example of the South American culture.  Our next topic will be Europe, starting with the ancient Roman and Greek civilizations.

Thank you for the E mails, I hope I responded to them, if not please E mail me again, sometimes messages get lost on the computer.  The students seem to be enjoying and learning the subject matter this year and the notebook notes are great.  If you have a question or concern please let me know.  Thank you again.
